Roop Mantra – Cucumber face wash!!

How are you all doing? It’s been a while, i didn’t post anything. Actually, I’m trying to concentrate on Instagram more but rains are not letting me do it. 😒 So, i thought at least i should post here. I will be reviewing the face wash range from the brand Roop Mantra this week. Frankly, i received these products long long ago but i didn’t got a change to try them. They are 7 in total – 5 different face washes, Ayurvedic cream, and a zero pimple gel. Even now, i could only try the face washes.

Also, i created a Instagram poll and majority voted for reviewing all the products at once. But, reviewing five products in total will make this post so long and i don’t want to. So, will update one by one review this whole week.

Cucumber face wash:

Product description: Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash is composed of the herbal extract of cucumber, Manjishta, Neem, Haridra, Kustha, Lodhra, Aloevera and Pudina. The extract of cucumber acts as moisture regulating agent and skin hydrating agent, thus keeps skin revitalizing and hydrating.

Claims: Controls blemishes and pimples. Purify the skin and remove excess oil, dirt while retaining skin moisture.

Directions & Ingredients:

Texture & consistency: The face wash comes in white tube with flip open cap. The packaging is travel friendly. It is transparent, light green in color with red beads in it. It’s consistency is little runny gel like. It lathers up decently and gives a cool sensation on face.

My experience: Of all the five, this is my favorite because of the cooling sensation it gives. My skin feels so pleasant and clean after every use. Also, i didn’t find any new pimples popping out. It’s hydrating for sure because of cucumber but not moisturizing as described. But, thankfully it didn’t make my skin dry.

Pros:

• Anti bacterial.
• Removes excess oil.
• Cheap and easily available.
• Exfoliates skin.
• Fades away blemishes in long run.
• Do not cause pimples. (at least in my case)

Cons:

• Not moisturizing as described.
• Fragrance.

Final verdict: This product is good for oily-combination skin because it remove excess oil. I could see the result even after a limited use. I would totally recommend this product.
